Aniruddh Dave speaks about his ‘Shorgul’ experience

Aniruddh Dave has always tried his hands at something new. And playing powerful roles has always come easily to him.

Aniruddh is presently satisfied and happy to have been part of Shorgul, the political thriller that has released today. The film stars actors Ashutosh Rana, Narendra Jha, Sanjay Suri.

Talking about films and its market, Aniruddh tells us, “Films with big banners and branding get successful. On the other hand, films which have a good message don’t work well because they don’t have a big brand name. Films work on brands today, stars are also a brand, but if people watch beyond that, it can attract them. Promotions, publicity make a film big, but Shorgul is not such a big film. But I am happy working in it.”

Elaborating on the way he prepares and goes about shooting for a film, he explains, “There’s no film or actor that I get inspired from. Every actor has a different craft, different thinking and interpretation. Whenever I work in any film, I try to connect with the audience with my interpretations.”

Talking on the movie, he avers, “Shorgul is a different kind of film that we do not get to see in theatres because people want to see the same kind of films these days. Shorgul is a political drama. A small love story, and how a small topic in a small region is connected to the nation where one gets to see good, bad, humanity and love in all that hustle. I play the role of Raghu who is Chaudhary’s son, which is played by Sir Ashutosh Rana.”

On TV, Aniruddh will be seen in Y.A.R.O. ka Tashan, the upcoming show on SAB TV.

Here’s wishing Aniruddh all the very best.
