Anju Mahendroo in Colors’ Code Red Talaash

Post Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, power house performer Anju Mahendroo will be seen donning the role of a black magic expert in Colors’ super natural thriller show Code Red Talaash (Lost Boy Productions). A source shared that Anju will be seen essaying the role of a woman who practices black magic in village called Gobindpur in West Bengal. Anju will summon Nishi Daak, a cruel ghost and will kill children of the village by transferring their energies to her own grandsons to save her bloodline. The story will revolve around her and how even after her demise every member of the village is scared of her. When we contacted Anju, she confirmed the news and mentioned, “This experience has been a very different one for me as I have never done such roles before. In fact initially I was reluctant on doing the role as I have never witnessed such acts or characters. But, the production team helped me out to portray a believable character”. “Though I am sure that I will look a bit scary but it will enjoyable. I have tried not to make the character look over-dramatized”, added the talented actress. As the lady impresses us one more time with a never seen before avatar, we wish her all the best. The sequence will be aired this week on Wednesday (24 July).
