Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir (Sphere Origins) will see a new entry in tonight’s episode in actor Ankit Modgill. Ankit who earlier essayed the role of Amreek Singh in Colors’ Bani – Ishq Da Kalma will be a saviour for Jyoti (Sheetal Dabholkar) who has run away from home as per the ongoing track. Ankit who was roped in to play the lead in Life OK’s musical love story is no longer part of that project. He will now be seen in a spirited avatar in the Star Plus show. A source tells us, “Ankit will essay the role of Siddharth who is a struggling journalist fond of writing articles and blogs. A typical extrovert by nature, and a positive person by heart, the guy will believe in living life to the fullest. Siddharth will bump into Jyoti when she is on the run. He will save her from the goons, and will also provide her shelter and make her comfortable.” Furthermore, Siddharth will go on to be fresh breath of air in Jyoti’s otherwise mundane life where she has been facing trauma at the hands of her husband.
