After Chavi Mittal SAB's Left Right Left has now roped in Ankur Nayyar to portray the character of Gunraj Randhawa Singh (Gunny)., an action packed hero. Earlier on the same role was supposed to be played by Rahil Azmi. Elaborating on his character he says, "Gunny is a rebellious commando appointed on the behalf of government. He'll give a tough time to all the cadets in the detention centre. However, later Naina and the gang will consider him their ideal. I always wanted to change my image from a lover boy to an action packed hero. After playing army officer's role in Kashmir I was keen on portraying the same character in a different way. So, was more than happy to accept this offer." Says a source close to the production house, "Ankur's negative act will later turn into positive. We wanted someone who can portray both the acts with perfection. He looks good in both the avatar." What was the need to introduce a new character? "After Rajeev's exit, the show needed some strong characters and now Ankur will bring in some more drama," adds the source.
