Anuj celebrates film sans 'Kkusums'

None of Abhay Kapoor's three successive Kkusums turned up to wish him on the completion of his first ever feature film. But that didn't stop Anuj Saxena from setting the dance floor on fire with fellow TV folk, several of whom turned up in strength to celebrate his debut on the big screen.
The party on Saturday night at the Tantra Lounge in suburban Mumbai had all the ingredients of a rocking evening. Anuj danced the night away to the tunes of Kajrare...Kajrare with Lips co star Maushmi Udeshi for company, seemingly having put his personal problems on the back burner for the evening. Director Sameer Malkan was on hand, extolling the virtue of Lips, “Lips-the Kiss of Death is a story of a simple and innocent young man’s obsession for a woman in the backdrop of the New York city. The film is complete and that is a good reason to party”, he said between celebrations. All of Anuj's Kkusum colleagues, erstwhile and current, were present on the occasion, including Juhi Parmar, Moulli Ganguly, Tasneem Sheikh, Rajesh Kumar, Deepshikha, Narayani Shastri, Hussain, Moonmoon, Cezanne Khan, Rucha Gujarathi, Anju Mahendru, Shraddha Nigam, Karan Shah, Bhavna Balsawar, Amit Behl....phew! Also present were model Nina Manuel, photographer Vikram Bawa, Ali Morani (Cineyug entertainment) and Taran Adarsh (Film Editor Trade guide). Narayani walked in without steady beau Gaurav Chopra. Not surprsingly, Narayani and Juhi, both of whom scorched the dance floor, refused to get into the same frame for photographers - the rivalry continues! Deepshikha, who happens to be Sameer Malkan's friend, spent several hours at the party - which doubled up as a birthday bash for the former Kittie Party girl - at midnight, Anuj announced Deep's birthday and the revelry all but doubled!
