Every character who has appeared in the show has become a star and the viewers have given so much love to them.
As the show's journey has been fabulous till now, it has added another feather to the cap.
Anupamaa has recently clocked 1500 episodes and it is indeed a very big achievement for the entire cast and crew.
Rupali Ganguly, Alpana Buch and Arvind Vaidya have been associated with the show from the beginning while the other star cast made an exit after the generation leap happened.
On this special occasion, we got in touch with Anupamaa's Alpana Buch who plays the role of Leela Shah.
The actress shared her joy of Anupamaa completing the journey of 1500 episodes.

Alpana quoted, ''As everyone knows that when Anupamaa was launched, we didn't know that it would be so successful. I have been a part of the show since the first episode's first scene. And I am still there. This is a very big achievement for me as an actor. As an actor, this is my first show that is running for so long on the screens. It is a very big challenge to be faithful to this character and also handle the highs and lows.''
She added, ''Anupamaa show is like a magnet that pulls people towards it. I am very grateful to God, DKP and Rajan ji that the power of this magnet is still intact. The show's storyline is such that every character is getting justified. New characters joined in and old ones left. Every character has got an opportunity to showcase their talent.''
She continued, ''We didn't even realise when we completed 1500 episodes. We all have worked very hard and also worked for almost 16 hours at times. We have also celebrated so many festivals here. It is not easy to reach till here. Everyone's hard work is involved from the cast to the crew. When all of the hard work is combined, that's when Anupamaa has happened to be so successful. I would like to thank the viewers from the bottom of my heart. I would also like to thank the production house, writers, director, DOP and everyone who is involved behind the camera. We are blessed as a show like Anupamaa is made maybe once in a century.''
