MUMBAI: Actress Princy Prajapati, who became a household name as young Pari in Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa, is now expanding her horizons and exploring different mediums.
Recently, Princy got the chance to shoot with Bollywood veteran Jackie Shroff, and she couldn’t stop praising the star. Sharing her experience, she said, “Jackie Shroff’s public persona is amazing, and his down-to-earth nature made it a wonderful experience shooting with him. I was initially nervous, but in no time we became like friends. He maintains a humble and grounded personality that has endeared him to audiences for decades.”

Elaborating further, she added, “Jackie sir is seen as cool and carefree. He has this natural swagger and effortless confidence that instantly commands attention. He also has a very eccentric and creative side—it was truly a learning experience being around him.”
During the shoot, Jackie even introduced Princy to his son, Bollywood star Tiger Shroff. She shared, “When I told him that I admire Tiger, he made me speak to him. It was such a treat for me! Jackie sir also blessed me for my acting career and well-being.”
Talking about her career plans, Princy revealed that she is now focusing on Bollywood projects post-Anupamaa. “I have two upcoming films lined up. But I always hold gratitude for television as a platform, and whenever I get a great opportunity, I’ll definitely consider it. As an actor, I want to grow and not limit myself to any one medium,” she said.
Apart from Anupamaa, Princy has been seen in Main Hoon Aparajita alongside Shweta Tiwari and Manav Gohil. She is also currently shooting for an upcoming Gujarati film titled Misri, featuring award-winning actress Manasi Parekh.
