MUMBAI: Actress Rupali Ganguly, who has become a household name with her show Anupamaa, sets example in the society against gender discrimination. Recently she attended birthday bash of transgender actress Shubhi Sharma.
Shubhi who rose to fame with the show Dhruv Tara, celebrated her birthday yesterday with keeping spiritual night Mata ki Chowki like every year. Many well known TV celebrities like Anushka Marchande, Saachi Tiwari, Rupali ganguly, Krish Chouhan, Sneha Chouhan
Nandita Mehra, Zeel Thakker, Shilpa thakre, Varun Buddhadev, Prapti Shukla, Dolphin Dubey among others were present.
Shubhi says, "I'm blessed that my friends joined me and helped my to make my big day really big. I wish for their happiness, good will. I was really surprised to see Rupali maam. She's best, always considered me as her sister, and stood by me. She's someone who even after being the most loved tv personality. She managed to get time for me. It shows she is not bothered about gender but care about her friendship. Even to all, who took break and made a way to my celebration.. I'm really thankful!".
