MUMBAI : Star Plus show Anupamaa is one of the most loved shows on television. However, these days the track which is revolving around the arrest of Anupamaa because of a statement given by Toshu has attracted quite some hatred by the ardent viewers of the show.

Also, with Vanraj back in Anupamaa’s life, Anuj who is still a part of her life and Yashdeep who wants to be a part of her life and are struggling to save her has brought more complexities and the audience feels that Anupamaa does not want to live a simple life and that despite all the times when she has been insulted or looked down upon, she still wants to compromise on her self-respect and keep doing things for them.

There are fans who feel that the show would make a much better watch if Anupamaa gave a befitting reply to all of them and moves on with her head held high instead of constantly suffering, later crying about it and then justifying why she did what she did. They want Anupamaa to do more than playing victim.

Hetal Gala shared, “Anupamaa said that Anuj will not let anything happen and wants to be independent too. The Shahs did not even bother to hire a lawyer for her! I don’t even feel sorry for Anupamaa. She deserves this because of misplaced priorities.”

Tejal Deshpande mentioned, “I hope Anupamaa doesn't forgive her useless kid after this. She should have put him in his place at the start.”

Hemani Shah stated, “Come to think of it, the jail is the safest place for Anupamaa. She will get a break from Anuj's hot-old Kabir Singh mode, Deepu's one-sided love, Kinju-Pari's responsibilities, Toshu's callousness and Vanraj-Baa's taunts and more.”

Rinku Thakkar expressed, “For some reason my heart goes out to Anupamaa. As a mother, she is soft hearted and no mother will be able to do what people expect her to do. It is not easy to be a mother.”

Akshita Rao opined, “Anupamaa is expected to be practical and the solutions being discussed are correct but the major thing is the emotional attachment that she has with her kids will never break. A child will always be a child to a mother.”
