He said, “It was one of those episodics, which used to air as a weekly on TV during the 90s. At that time, she thought I was quite snooty and arrogant. But, when we started working together she changed her views about me. After so many years when we met on the sets of Anupamaa again, Rupali joked ‘the ‘attitude-wala Vaquar is here’ and we both laughed over it. It was fun working with her.”
He added, “Anupamaa or Bade Acche Lagte Hai, might be those few shows which have explored mature love stories. A TV show can’t just be about youngsters falling in love,” He added, "The dialogues, writing and the scripts in international shows are much better. I feel makers should adopt these concepts and that’s how we will be able to tell different stories on TV." The actor further shared, "I am also happy that TV is a woman-centric medium and we are telling stories from the women's point of view. The audience is mainly women so why not? And I have always got strong roles in women-centric shows whether it was Vidya, Heena or Anupamaa.”
