Tellychakkar.com was the first to inform viewers about Sony Entertainment Television launching a new reality series Power Couple.
Produced by Colosceum, the show would have 10 celebrity couples making their way to win the coveted title of being the ‘power couple’.
As per our sources, Pratyusha Banerjee and beau Rahul Singh has already signed the dotted lines. There have been reports about Sanaya Irani-Mohit Sehgal, Harbhajan Singh-Geeta Basra, Rannvijay Singh, Priyanka, Aftab Shivdasani - Nin Dusanj, Neelam - Sameer and Gul Panag – Rishi Attari amongst others being approached for it.
But before the contestants get locked, media recently announced the host of the show.
It is none other than the ‘Khan’ couple Arbaaz and Malaika Arora Khan.
Confirming the same to a national daily, Arbaaz stated, “This is the first time I am hosting a show and I am thrilled to do so with Malaika by my side. It is an interesting format and I am glad we could this together. I have seen a few episodes of the international show and I must say I am totally hooked on to it.”
Arbaaz has earlier judged Comedy Circus. Malaika who is currently judging Jhalak Reloaded has also donned the judge’s hat for Nach Baliye and India’s Got Talent.
Power Couple is said to go on floors in October. It will be shot in Goa.
