After Left Right Left, Arjun Bijlani aka Aalekh was out of the limelight for a few months. Now the actor is all charged up as he makes a comeback as parallel lead in Deepti Bhatagnar’s Mohe Rang De, which is one of the driver shows for the soon-to-launch Colors Hindi general entertainment channel.
States Deepti, “Well, it’s going to be a daily prime time half-hour entertainment show. We haven’t yet zeroed down on the exact timings.”
Mohe Rang De is the story of two different individuals Rajbir and Kranti, who have different ideologies. A period drama set in 1942 – in the backdrop of the Quit India Movement – the show witnesses the upheaval of a country trying to achieve freedom. These two people meet and their life takes a new course. Rajbir changes his whole life to be with the woman he loves and Kranti finds family finally.
“I’ll be essaying one of the parallel leads in the show. Gabby Chael will be portraying the second lead in the show,” confirms Arjun.
For the female protagonist, new girls have been roped in. “Pravleen, Shweta and Neevna will be playing important characters in the serial. They all are new faces in this industry,” says Deepti.
“Let the right time come and we will reveal their faces too. Just waiting for approval from the channel,” she adds.
