In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar Ashi Singh spoke about her experience on casting couch and revealed how she dealt with it.

Did you ever get scared in this industry while giving auditions and all as they say this industry isn't that safe?

Yes I used to get scared in the beginning as I used to think what if I don't get work and then how to get work. I had heard a lot of stories of how one doesn't get work and then what one has to do to get work, you keep hearing all these things and hence I wasn't ready to work. But then I started to give auditions and then worked. Thankfully I didn't face anything like that and then I got support from my family and then my supporting family, had lovely friends who always supported me and kept getting that support but at the same time I really worked hard.

Have You faced something like 'Casting Couch'

Yes, during my initial days but then I used to have a very clear and straight approach and when I used to get such vibes I used to get up and leave. The one thing good about the industry is that it doesn't force anything on you and it allows you to react the way you want at the end such offers would come. It depends on how you deal with it. I was very clear that I will get the good work in the right way and if not then its fine will wait so I was very clear with it.

As you said that you had an experience of casting couch so then later did you get scared to go ahead?

To be honest it happens not only with incidents but even for shooting a scene. What if I am unable to do a scene then so these things happen, but one must know how to overcome it and move on in life.

Well, there is no doubt that Ashi Singh has come up with a lot of hard work and dedication and the fans miss watching her on screen.
