Ashima is planning a break

Ashima Bhalla who rose to fame with Meri Aawaaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni is planning a break. It’s just been one and a half year since Ashima made her television debut. Now it’s heard that the show will be pulled off air soon. Confirming the news Ashima says, “Yes, it’s true that Meri Aawaaz is going off air but I don’t know when. It’s a channel decision.” “It’s great being part of the show. Secondly, this is my first show on television and it has given me immense popularity. Well it’s sad that the show is soon to end but I’m grateful that I got the opportunity to work with this team,” she adds. The show had recently taken a leap which included new entries and exits. So what’s next on Ashima’s plate? “Currently, I’m busy winding up the shoot and after that I’m planning a break. I’ve been working non-stop and I think I deserve a break for a fortnight. I’m planning to visit my hometown in Punjab. I’ll take up a show only after coming back from my vacation,” she chirps. The show worked for Ashima Bhalla but fell short of TRP’s. That’s the way the cookie crumbles.
