MUMBAI: Fitness is a way of life! In today’s digital era, it has become the need of the hour to remain fit and fine. Not only for an actor, but also for the common man, fitness comes with a whole lot of benefits.
TellyChakkar.com got in touch with casting director turned actor Ashish Singh and got a few important questions answered about fitness and health. When asked about the importance of Fitness, Ashish said, “Fitness is the only thing in my mind as of now because we are living in an industry where we have to look good, maintain our self. Regular exercise and physical activity promotes strong muscles and bones. It improves respiratory, cardiovascular health, and overall health. Staying active can also help you maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk for type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and reduce your risk for some cancers.
We ask the young actor about how does he keep himself fit, he said, “ I exercise daily for at least one and a half hours. To stay fit and healthy, one should eat the right food and portion each meal. No matter how bad your stomach is telling you to go for candy over healthy food, try to stay away from sweets. I always keep track of calories and food intake per day. One should also always be sure to get proper sleep. Stay Motivated and take proper intake of protein, carbs and fat.
We asked Ashish about his fitness inspiration, he said, “My fitness inspiration is my trainer cum brother Haris Khan, HK Fitness, he always motivated me when I was down with my health and he always tried his best to get me in good shape”.
As a casting director Ashish have casted more than 50 Shows for several production houses and currently working with Optimystix India pvt. As an actor he has done many episodic shows as a lead, like Pyar Tune Kya kiya, IPS Diary, MTV webbed, Yeh hai Ashqiui and many more.
