A page from the personal diary of Jayshree Venkateramanan Hello everyone, this is Jayshree Venkateramanan, your new well-known grown up Nanhi of Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha… Season 2 on Colors. Well, let me take the opportunity of telling you something about myself. Born and brought up in the national capital (Delhi), I finished my education there, having graduated in Political Science with honors. In school, I was an average student who had minimal interest in studies. But, by the time I was pursuing my graduation, I became very serious and utilized all my efforts to finish it. In my childhood, I was very passionate about acting and used to do all kind of nautanki to save myself from trouble. Since then, my mother came to know of my hidden skills and she had faith in me that I would become a good actor. Acting is not something that you learn by participating in dramas or plays in your college. I came to this industry as a raw hand, but I had the caliber to give my best shot. I have learnt a lot in this industry and it has also accepted me with open arms. I started my career with a lot of struggle and there came a time when I was not able to take rejection anymore. But then, one day I got a call from Endemol and Fortune Productions to play the lead role in their show Beend Banoongaa Ghodi Chadhunga on Imagine TV. After so much of struggle, getting a call to play a lead role washed away all my pain and it turned into happiness. But, unfortunately the show went off air within a year. Then after 10 months, I got a break to play Nanhi in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha on Colors. I am not at all ashamed to say that I feel myself privileged to play the character of Nanhi which was very well played by Ashnoor Kaur. It was Ashnoor who put the character of Nanhi on a pedestal, with her having captured many a heart with her fine acting. It was she who made the show very popular and I feel blessed that I got to play the elder Nanhi. If there is anyone in industry I would like to idolize, it would undoubtedly be Ashnoor. Guys, this is all for now. I promise to come back again with lot more interesting stuff to relate in the coming days..
