MUMBAI: Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the most loved shows on Indian television. The on-screen pairing of Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi has created magic in the hearts of the viewers.
The two, in a very short span of time, have become household names. Mohsin and Shivangi, as Kartik and Naira, had the audience smitten with their chemistry and soon the makes introduced Shivangi in a fresh character as Sirat. According to the current track of the show, Sirat has married Ranveer and she has promised to find a suitable bride for Kartik.
The pairing of Sirat and Ranveer (Karan Kundrra) is quite appreciated however, the audience cannot see Shivangi’s pairing with anyone else other than Mohsin.
Anurag Mehta shares, “I am absolutely in love with Shivangi’s acting skills and light-hearted humour which she brings on the screens. She definitely makes a good pair with Mohsin.”
Prateek Waghmare says, “The audience is used to seeing Mohsin and Shivangi so now seeing either of them with someone else would take time to accept, in fact I feel that the show would see a drop in TRP’s if the two are split up.”
Akshay Parekh opines, “Shivangi and Karan’s chemistry is also quite good and it is fun watching the two of them. In fact, I find it to be a refreshing change.”
Himani Badani believes, “I love watching this show with my family and as much as I love Mohsin and Shivangi’s chemistry she looks good with Karan too. Somewhere down the line, it is also interesting to see how Sirat feels for Kartik and now realising her love for him.”
Disha Jain avers, “Mohsin and Shivangi have become couple goals over a period of time and I do not think they should pursue other love interests. I would personally stop watching the show and it is good that the show still narrates the unsaid love between Sirat and Kartik.”
