MUMBAI: Munmun Dutta is an animal lover. The actress plays Babita in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She has invested a lot of hard work to safeguard animals’ lives. She even raises her voice for these voiceless creatures.

Munmun has now turned into a saviour for a stray dog. As shared by the actress herself, Munmun rescued a female dog who was badly wounded. In the pictures, the dog is seen getting her wounds cleaned and having a collar around her neck. As per the latest update, the dog is getting better with the treatment.

Meanwhile, last year, she had taken special permission from Mumbai Police to feed dogs amid the lockdown.

A few years back, she had revealed her dream of building an animal farm/shelter.
