MUMBAI: Narayani Shastri is one of the most popular actresses in telly town.
According to the latest media reports, the actress who had shifted bag-n-baggage to Goa has returned to Mumbai.
The actress and her husband Steven Graver moved to Goa sometime in October 2019. Narayani had then told ETImes TV, "Earlier, we used to live in Andheri, and till the time my shows were shot at Film City, I was able to manage the commute. However, in recent times, many television sets moved to Naigaon and the commute became very long. We even moved to Goregaon to reduce the travel time, but it didn’t help. At times, it would take me almost two-three hours to reach the set because of traffic jams. It meant coming home to just sleep. I really needed a change. My husband is a painter and he, too, wanted to move to a place that’s quieter, so that he could work peacefully. We both felt that we should explore Goa as an option.”

However, later, Narayani felt that her shoot of 'Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha', which required her to be here for about five days a week, was leaving her with very little time for her husband. Narayani had to shuttle between Goa and Mumbai over weekends and this proved to be not a cakewalk when it came to doing it almost every single week.
Hence, the couple returned to Mumbai, last week. Narayani told the daily, "It was not easy for me to stay in Mumbai without Steven for so many days every month and join him in Goa for only a few days every now and then. I am working- and the long-distance thing which would give me only 4/5 days with my husband in a month- was getting too much for me. Now, when I am shooting I stay at Goregaon. The days I don't have a shoot I am at my bungalow in Virar."
