Aww! THIS Saraswatichandra fame goes nostalgic recalling being gifted an expensive car as a 12th grader by his dad 

With Sarawatichandra fame Gautam Rode turning a year older tomorrow, the actor recalls his dad gifting him an expensive car when he was in his 12th grade.

MUMBAI: Television actor Gautam Rode is going to celebrate his birthday soon. The actor, best known for his role in Saraswatichandra, will be turning a year wiser on August 14, 2021. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the actor won't be going to any exotic location out of the city. He has planned to have an intimate dinner with friends and stay at a luxurious hotel in the city. 

In an interview, Gautam not just spoke about his 44th birthday plans but also revealed the expensive gift he received. 

Going down the memory lane, Gautam said his father had gifted a car in his 12th grade. "When I got my license, my dad brought me Maruti H100 (car). So I can say that time definitely, it was very expensive. I remember that happened in 12th (grade) after I got my license.", shared Gautam. 

On being asked if he would like to erase any birthday memory from his mind, Gautam added, "Birthdays are usually good so there aren't any memories that I would like to erase. But last time, we couldn't step out of the house and I hope it (situation) changes very soon within a year and a half.".

A few days ago, Gautam had undergone back surgery. Sharing his health update with his fans on Instagram, he had penned, "Verified Doesn’t look like I’ve come out of a back surgery. A big thank you to Dr. Sandeep Vaishya (Neurosurgeon), Dr. Subhash (Orthopaedic), Dr. Jha (Physiotherapy Head) and the entire staff of Fortis Gurugram for being so hospitable and taking such good care.".

On the personal front, Gautam got married to Pankhuri Awasthy in 2018. For the last three years, they have been going strong in their marriage. Their respective Instagram handles are filled with cute photos of each other. On special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries, Gautam and Pankhuri always shower each other with love on social media.

Work-wise, he was last seen in the State Of Siege: Temple Attack, which also starred Akshaye Khanna and Vivek Dahiya. The actor played the role of Major Samar in the film, directed by Ken Ghosh. 

Up next, he will be seen in a music video with his beloved wife Pankhuri. More details on their songs are awaited.
