Badi Malkin becomes Visarjan

Tellychakkar had earlier reported that Deeya and Tony Singh were making a show called Badi Malkin for Colors. The latest we have heard on this is that the show is renamed as Visarjan and will go on air from January 11. The show was earlier meant for Zee TV but since it wasn’t willing to make any big investments in it, it was taken to Colors. Colors have made major changes in the script and the shooting will start early next month. A source informs, “Yes, Colors have renamed Badi Malkin to Visarjan. Zee had given the earlier title and Colors was not very happy with it. The channel has demanded many changes in the script.” The story is about a poor young village girl who gets married to a rich man. The marriage is not out of choice but to protect the girl’s dignity. The source adds, “The star cast is almost finalized and the names will be out soon. The initial shooting will happen in Jaipur.” We texted Tony Singh but he didn’t revert.
