MUMBAI: The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) has unveiled its latest weekly TRP ratings, offering a fascinating insight into the shifting tastes of television audiences across the country.
This week’s chart reflects a compelling mix of consistency and surprises, with some shows holding their ground, a few climbing steadily, and others slipping down the ladder proving once again how dynamic and unpredictable the Indian television space remains.
At the very top, Anupama continues to reign supreme, followed closely by Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in second place.
Meanwhile, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai holds firm in the third position, reaffirming its enduring popularity.
Adding to the shake-up, Tumm Se Tumm Tak has made an impressive leap to secure the fourth spot, while Super Dancer 5 has entered the top twenty, strengthening its presence among audience favourites.
One of the biggest surprises, however, comes from Bigg Boss, which despite its digital-first broadcast, has soared into the top ten with a remarkable ratings boost.
On the flip side, Mangal Lakshmi, Jhanak, and Mannat have all recorded dips in viewership this week, showing just how competitive the ratings race can be.
Meanwhile, evergreen comedy Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah continues to feature prominently, standing strong alongside newer contenders.
