MUMBAI: The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) has released its latest weekly TRP report, offering a revealing snapshot of the ever-evolving preferences of television viewers across India.

This week’s ratings paint a picture of both stability and surprise, with some shows maintaining their stronghold, others climbing the ranks, and a few witnessing noticeable drops — underscoring just how dynamic the Indian television landscape continues to be.

Topping the chart once again is Anupamaa, firmly asserting its dominance, while Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah secures a strong second place. Meanwhile, long-time favourites Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi continue to captivate audiences, comfortably landing in third and fourth positions.

This week also sees a surge in popularity for Tumm Se Tumm Tak, Vasudha, Pati Patni Aur Panga, and Bigg Boss, the latter earning commendable ratings despite being streamed first on JioHotstar before airing on COLORS TV. Their upward movement demonstrates that compelling content can draw viewers across multiple platforms.

On the other hand, Jhanak, Kumkum Bhagya, and Mangal Lakshmi experienced a dip, reflecting shifting audience interests and the high level of competition in the current television space.
