The thespian is seen portraying the role of young mother of Advay (Barun Sobti) in the drama. Talking more about her stint in the show, she shares, "The return of Barun as an older Advaya has raised expectations. I am also very happy to be doing this cameo for firstly it gave me a chance to see how I will be able to work with my five months child. It was easy, for the production house has helped me lot; for instance, if my son cried I am allowed time to calm him down. I bring him to set complete with his toys and cot etc.” “Secondly and equally important is, because the current conflict between Advay and Chandani (Shivani Tomar) is based on happenings during his past, my stint is very important. In a way we set the stage for the show. Mitaali’s track will soon wind down; my shooting is mostly done; only some portions are left.” Talking about Barun, Mitaali says, “He is a very warm person and all the charm that he has explains his huge fan following. He has also grown as an actor over the years. I liked his initial performances so far. At first my fans were upset when it was reported that I was playing mother to Barun who is only a year younger to me, but I did not want to reveal the story so I told my fans to have faith.” Shivani on the other hand is way prettier in real life then onscreen. I told her the same and she was thankful. She is also very warm and sweet In fact the entire cast is very good. It was a pleasant experience bumping into my friend Seema Azmi (Chak De fame) with who had recently done a play. Last but not the least Bollywood actress Ritu Shivpuri does not throw any filmy tantrum either.” Looking ahead, Mitaali is open to all types of roles, “I take pains not to get typecast. After Afsar Bitiya, I started getting similar type of demure roles. I refused to do them which helped me net Draupadi. Now after playing mom to a young boy, I will again ensure that I am doing different stuff to impress my fans and also satiate the actor within.” Good luck Mitali!
