Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 3
This news comes with greetings of the new year. One of the most popular shows on TV, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is back with its third season. But this time the show has a new production house and some other surprises in store for viewers. A source from Synergy informed, “The third season of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa unlike the previous ones, will be produced by BBC instead of Synergy Adlabs. Since BBC launched its own production house last year, they have decided to produce this celebrity dance reality show. Currently the show is in the pre-production stages. Saroj Khan has been approached to be on the panel of judges. Few cricketers from the Indian team have also been approached to participate but none of the judges or the participants have been finalised." CMD of Synergy Adlabs Siddharth Basu said, "Yes, BBC is producing the new season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa . We are not handling it. It was always a BBC show. BBC had commissioned the show to Sony Entertainment Television and the channel commissioned its production to us. But this time, the production unit of BBC made it conditional to Sony that they will produce the show. Now that they will be producing Jhalak…, I wish them all the best." BBC television content and production head Saul Nasse said, "I can't talk anything about the show as it is too early to talk. I will be in a position to comment only when we make an official announcement." Veteran dance choreographer Saroj Khan confirmed the news of her being approached to judge the show saying, "Yes, I was approached to judge Jhalak… but nothing has been decided. A meeting will be held soon and only after that I will be able to say whether I am doing the show or not. But i will say this only if the channel allows me."
