Behzaad Khan aka Noor Khan quits Veer Shivaji

The news of Veer Shivaji on Colors taking a leap made a lot of hype in the media. But of late, the conceptual move has not managed to garner the right numbers. This Contiloe Productions’ show has been slipping down on the TRP ladder. Now, Behzaad Khan made an entry in the show as Noor Khan, the only loyal Pathan to Veer Shivaji (Amol Kolhe), a couple of months back. But the latest we have learned is that he has quit this historical saga. A source revealed that the actor has already put down his papers and is serving a month long notice period which ends on 31 April 2012. Tellychakkar.com contacted Behzaad and he went on to confirm and said, “Yes, I have already given a notice to the production house.” So why did he quit? “I was not satisfied with my track. When I took up the project, I was promised a lot more but sadly, things did not turn out the way I expected,” he further stated. Professionally, Behzaad has been already roped in to essay a negative character in Creative Eye’s upcoming show on Star Plus, Yeh Pyaar Nibhayenge Hum. The show stars Karan Wahi and Reema Wohra in the leads. “I am just waiting for the show to go on air and I hope it would see the light post IPL,” he ended.
