Bengali film 'Bela Seshe' to premiere on TV

Bela Seshe

Critically-acclaimed Bengali film "Bela Seshe" will have its world television premiere on January 10 to celebrate the movie's 250 days of sceening at the theatres.

Bangla TV channel Jalsha Movies will screen the film once at 12 noon and then again at 9 p.m., the channel said in a statement.

Shiboprosad Mukhopadhyay co-directed "Bela Seshe" with Nandita Roy.

The duo brought back veteran filmmaker Satyajit Ray's iconic "Ghare Bhaire" pair -- actors Soumitra Chatterjee and Swatilekha Sengupta -- on the big screen after 30 years.

"Bela Seshe" is a story of relationships that explores the intricacies of one's married life.
