Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain: Aasif Sheikh breaks silence on health scare; says, ‘I arrived in a wheelchair and have been advised…’

MUMBAI: Veteran television actor Aasif Sheikh, best known for his iconic role as Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, recently faced a health crisis that left fans deeply concerned.

The actor made headlines after collapsing on the set while filming an intense scene for the popular sitcom.

The incident took place in Dehradun, where the show was being shot. Following the sudden health scare, Sheikh was urgently flown to Mumbai for treatment.

The actor has now broken his silence, providing an update on his condition and reassuring fans about his recovery.

In an exclusive conversation with an entertainment portal, Aasif Sheikh revealed that he has been advised complete bed rest.

Recounting the unsettling experience, he said, "I was shooting for Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain in Dehradun when I started experiencing numbness in my foot. Soon after, sciatica pain worsened the situation."

He further shared, "I was brought to Mumbai in a wheelchair and have been advised to take full bed rest. I landed here on the 18th and have been resting ever since. My treatment is ongoing, and I believe I will need another week before I can return to the sets. I am hopeful to be back in front of the camera soon."

Aasif Sheikh has been a household name in the entertainment industry since 1988, with a prolific career spanning television and films. He has delivered memorable performances in shows such as Samander, Baazaar, Mehndi Tere Naam Ki, Raj, Hassi Woh Phassi, Detective Karan, Miilee, and Dill Mill Gayye.

On the silver screen, Sheikh has featured in notable films including Karan Arjun, Paandav, Mrityudaata, Banarasi Babu, Vikram, and Auzaar.

As fans continue to pour in wishes for his speedy recovery, the industry eagerly awaits the actor's return to the screen. Here's hoping Aasif Sheikh makes a swift comeback, bringing his trademark charm and wit back to television soon.
