Big Magic’s show ‘Akbar’ is a historical drama that aims to unravel the prodigious journey of the Mughal emperor right from the days of his childhood, and traces his path to the throne in a manner that has never been projected before on Indian television.
The show which stars Abhishek Nigam as the lead character of Akbar is going off air soon.
Shashi Sumit Production’s associate producer Sheetal Somani confirmed that the drama is going off air on 29 June.
We spoke to Abhishek regarding it, and the talented actor said, “Akbar was my first show and I learnt a lot while shooting for it. It’s very painful for me as it is now going off air.”
Speaking about his future endeavors, he said, “I will be playing the role of teenage Krishna in &TV’s ‘Paramavatar Shri Krishna’, so I’m very excited about it right now.”
