MUMBAI: Devoleena Bhattachrajee who is often in news for her social media banter with followers and trolls has decided to go off social media. The actress has taken a break from the platforms to get some positivity in her life, by her own admission. Devoleena's last post on her Instagram account was on July 7 which was a long post for completing 9 years in the industry and also had celebration pictures where the actress could be seen cutting cakes.

Now talking to TOI, Devoleena revealed the reason behind her social media detox and said, "I am spending my time reading books, watching TV series online and doing some creative work. I am on a break from social media. I know people might be missing me, the ones who love me might be missing me to shower their wishes and the ones who troll me might be missing the "tu tu main main" I miss them both. But for some time I need some positive vibes in my life.”
Devoleena popularly known as Gopi Bahu (Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Star Plus) participated in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 13. Her friendship and bond with fellow contestant Rashami Desai and arguments with Sidharth Shukla kept her in the news. However her journey turned out to be a small one as the actress had quit the show in between due to her back injury and the pain resulting from it. After the show, Devoleena kept making headlines for taking on Shehnaz Gill's fans who trolled her no end for her equation with Sidharth and Shehnaz.
