As reality TV buffs were served an exciting season of “Bigg Boss”, social enthusiasts were in for an even bigger treat: season 9 (#BB9) trumped its own record to become the show’s most Tweeted season yet. It garnered more than 5.7 million Tweets this season, a whopping 70% higher than season 8.

The excitement on Twitter peaked during the final episode when contestant Prince Narula (@princenarula88) was crowned the winner. The season finale saw a 119% increase in Tweet volume in comparison to the previous year’s final episode.

#BB9 Tweets by @BiggBoss & @ColorsTV generated a total of 168M+ organic impressions during the season.
