Aman Verma is all set to return to small screen as the anchor of Khullja Sim Sim on Reliance Big Magic (Tellychakkar.com broke the news). Meanwhile, the actor is busy shooting for a movie which also stars Shakti Kapoor, Sara Khan, Ashmit Patel, Govind Namdeo, amongst others. In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Aman talks about his present commitments and much more… “The untitled movie is a social drama which revolves around a father, mother and their two sons. I play the role of a son who turns bad, and then reforms into a good guy again. Mine is the only character in the movie that goes a full circle i.e. from white to grey and then black, reforms to become a white again,” states Aman. Talking about reality shows, Aman tells, “I have done one reality show and that is Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. I took it up because the makers had told us that we would be involving in action stunts, shoot with animals, jump from a plane etc. All these adventurous tasks tempted me to take it up.” When we asked him whether he would take up a show like Bigg Boss, Aman says, “There is not much that one can do in the Bigg Boss house. The only thing you can do is to form little groups and bitch behind one’s back and then vote them out of the house. Once a person returns to the house after being ousted, he stops fighting and remains calm. If one needs to bitch and scream, Bigg Boss is the right place.” On his next stint as anchor of Khullja Sim Sim on TV, Aman says, “It’s a nice feeling to think that I will be hosting the show all over again. All that I can say is that I am more intelligent and wiser now, when compared to 10 years back. I know the game very well now, and can interact better with the audience.” When asked about the next fiction role that he would want to take up on TV, he says, “I would love to do all kinds of shows, preferably a role that suits my personality. Having said this, I have done everything on TV.” On the changes required in television, Aman states, “The diction of actors is not clear at times, and they lack the ability to hold the audience to the show. We used to work for peanuts and today, the new guys are working for peanut shells.” Well said, Aman!!!
