Tollywood hero Soham Chakraborty turned a year older today (4 March).
The actor, who enthralled the audiences with his performances in flicks like Prem Aamar, Amanush and Golpo Holeo Shotti, celebrated his birthday in a noble way with the students of Behala Blind School, a day earlier.
“I was born and brought up here at Behala. I have always tried to associate myself with the kids of this school. My mom too wanted me to do something for them. I was free today so I thought of spending some quality time with the kids. And it gives me immense pleasure when I get to bring smile on their faces,” he shared with Tellychakkar.com in between the celebration.
Speaking about today’s plan, the actor quipped, “I begin my day by touching the feet of my parents. Then I gorge on payesh. Relishing the sweet dish on this day has become a ritual. And then I visit Kalighat Temple to take the blessings of Maa Kali.”
What about wifey dear’s plan for him? The actor replied with a smile, “We are going for a dinner and she has planned a surprise for me.”
Birthdays mean a year getting subtracted from our life. So, when asked if birthdays scare him or make him more responsible, the actor answered that they definitely remind him about his responsibilities.
He opined, “Birthdays do not scare me as life has no guarantees. They make me responsible. My viewers have some expectation from me. As I grow old and become mature, I try to live up to their expectations as much as I can.”
