Bon Voyage: Zee &'s Razia Sultan head to Egypt; Badi Devrani to shoot in Macau

Rohit Purohit and Mudit Nayar

Zee & (And), the channel to-be-launched soon seems to be on a roll!!

Every show that is part of the channel’s launch pad, we hear is leaving no stone unturned in providing great production value and entertainment to the audience.

As part of its strategy, two of the channel’s big shows, Razia Sultan and Badi Devrani will have a shoot schedule abroad to garner eyeballs.

As per a reliable source, Siddharth Tewary’s Swastik Productions will soon travel to Egypt to shoot the introductory sequences of their male protagonist. As per the story line, Altunia, the male lead, to be played by Rohit Purohit will be a slave who would fall in love with childhood friend, Razia Sultan. And Altunia’s sequences wherein he would live the life of a slave are to be shot in the locales of Egypt.

And for Badi Devrani, the show to be produced by Shashi-Sumeet Productions, the news coming in is that they have already headed for a trip to Macau. The leads of the show, Mudit Nayar and Megha Chakraborthy have flown to Macau along with few other actors in the cast. The unit will be shooting a destination wedding in Macau, is what we hear.

As per our source, the unit of Badi Devrani will shoot in Macau for two weeks.

We tried contacting Producers of Razia Sultan, Siddharth Tewary and Sumeet H. Mittal, Producer of Badi Devrani, but they remained unavailable for comment.

Watch this space for more exclusive updates. It’s ‘bon voyage’ for the Zee & shows.
