Shiv Sena has arm-twisted some of the cable operators in Mumbai, Thane and Kalyan to black out Colors for allowing Veena Malik, Begum Nawazish Ali, both from Pakistan, into the Bigg Boss house.
“The Sena had earlier demanded for the Pakistani participants to be removed out of the show but when the channel didn’t give into their demands, the Sena protested by sloganeering outside the house,” says a source.
The channel authorities refused to comment on the same.
Shweta Padulkar, the local spokesperson of the political party said, "I am not aware of anything of this sort as I have been busy with some other work."
Sanjay Raut, the official spokesperson of Shiv Sena did not revert to our text message.
Looks like Colors will have to quickly arrive at a decision agreeable to both parties.
