Cake treat for the cast and crew of Ek Hazaaron...

Click on the pic to view slideshow The cast and crew of Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain are on cloud nine these days. Reason? The show hit a high of 4.3TRPs in the span of 7-14 December 2011. Kudos! Furthermore, who doesn’t like a little bit of appreciation or a pat on the back for putting in hard work. And the folks at Star Plus know about it. In order to commemorate the achievement, the channel sent a token of appreciation-a delicious cake- on the sets of the show. A channel official who chose to be anonymous said, “Yes, we keep doing it every now and then to cheer up everyone who works really hard to make a show successful.” Well, he or she might choose to talk from behind the curtains, but Krystle Dsouza (Jeevika) and Kushal Tandon (Virat) can’t stop talking about the gesture. “Star Plus has always been very supportive and it is so nice of them to send a cake. I even want to thank Cinevistaas (production house of the show) for showering us with so much love. I am so happy that our show is doing well,” says beautiful and lovely Krystle. Krystle further goes on to say that everyone cut the cake accompanied by the show’s theme song being played in the background. “We couldn’t put cakes on each other’s faces as we had to shoot,” sulks Krystle. Accolades are fine, but Krystle is also gearing up for the ever-growing expectations of the viewers. “I am nervous. But we can’t let viewers down now, so we are not even taking any holidays at the end of the year. But, I want to thank everyone for their love and support.” Kushal, on the other hand, strikes an optimistic note. “I promise my fans that in the next two to three months our show will be perched on the top. We had a small get-together to celebrate the occasion. However, I want to thank all my fans as because of them we are doing great,” ends Kushal.
