MUMBAI: Sony SAB’s ‘Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey’ continues to capture the everyday struggles and victories of the middle-class Wagle family. In recent episodes, Dakku (Deepak Pareek) hears strange noises coming from the flat next door, which has been vacant for some time. Suspecting it to be thieves, he gathers the entire society to investigate. However, they are left stunned when they hear bhajans coming from the apartment.
In a surprising turn of events as the door to the flat opens, the Sai Darshan society members meet their new neighbors, a Gujarati family. The family includes Dharmesh (Khanjan Thumber), a calm and principled former temple priest, and his loud, eccentric wife, Santoori (Tarjanee Bhadla). Accompanying them is their young son, a budding singer, whose passion for music brings the family to Mumbai.
However, Dakku remains suspicious of the newcomers, wary of how scammers often pose as families. Determined to prove his suspicions, Dakku starts observing their every move. Will his doubts lead to false accusations, or is there more to this family than meets the eye?
Sumeet Raghvan, who plays the role of Rajesh Wagle, said,“It’s exciting to have new characters in Wagle Ki Duniya, and this new Gujarati family brings a refreshing twist to the story. What makes this family even more interesting is the drastic contrast between Dharmesh and Santoori – while Dharmesh is calm, principled, and grounded, Santoori is loud, eccentric, and full of energy. Their differences, and the interactions with the existing residents, are sure to create plenty of entertaining banter and heartfelt moments. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the audience connects with them as they settle into the society!”
Tune in to watch Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey on Sony SAB from Monday to Saturday at 9 PM.
