MUMBAI: MasterChef India is one of the most-watched cooking reality shows on Indian television. The show first aired on StarPlus and later shifted to Sony TV.
Akshay Kumar, Kunal Kapur, and Ajay Chopra were the judges for the first season of MasterChef India on StarPlus. In addition to them, Vikas Khanna, Sanjeev Kapoor, Ranveer Brar, Zorawar Kalra, and Vineet Bhatia, among others have served as judges in MasterChef India - Hindi over the years.
The new season of the show is set to premiere soon and this season’s judges include Chef Vikas Khanna, and Chef Ranveer Brar and the show is hosted by Farah Khan.
The confirmed contestant of the show are Gaurav Khanna, Tejasswi Prakash, Dipika Kakar, Rajiv Adatia, Nikki Tamboli, Archana Gautam, Faisal Shaikh, Usha Nadkarni, Abhijeet Sawant, Chandan Prabhakar, and Kabita Singh
As a twist, this time, we will get to see celebrities entering as contestants and this is going to be an amazing ‘tadka’ for the audience.

In the new promo of the show, one can see how the judges aren’t happy with Gaurav Khanna’s cooking and wouldn’t give him great remarks.
Gaurav would cook four dishes and would present it in front of the judges and Vikas would tell him that he has cooked four dishes so could we tell that this confidence or over – confidence.
Ranveer would say that the dish isn’t good and he didn’t cook it well whereas Farah Khan would spit out what he made as she wouldn’t be able to eat it.
Well, seems like it wasn’t a good start for Gaurav on the show as his dish didn’t come out that well the way he accepted.
