Viewers enjoy watching celebrities shake a leg. And that just about explains the success of celebrity dance shows. In keeping pace with the trend, the oldest dance show Boogie Woogie invited celebs to dance with the finalists of the ongoing Mummy’s special contest.
The seven celebs who burnt the dance show were Aman Verma, Aryan Vaid, Karan Oberoi, Sayali Bhagat, Gauri Karnik, Jassi Kaur and Pulkit Samrat. Adding glitz to the glamour were Tellywood’s first conjoined twins Amber and Dhara.

He was the youngest amongst the six celebrities and with a ‘big’ lady as his partner, no one expected Pulkit to perform well. However, the rookie actor and his partner who danced to do you want a partner created a tremor with their performance.
Says Pulkit, “When I first met Yogita (I don’t like calling her aunty) I was left to rue my luck. However she’s a terrific dancer and she’s proved it with this performance.”
Karan Oberoi and his young ‘mummy’ partner Megha Sharma were at their energetic best as they danced to the Punjabi pop number Soni De Nakhre from the film Partner. However, all eyes were on Aman Verma. It’s a well-
known that Aman is least comfortable when it comes to dancing. “I’ve never been known for my dancing skills. I’m here to entertain and I’m sure the audience will have a good laugh after watching my performance.”
The last time one saw Aman dance it was in the movie Baghbaan. A wise Aman chose to sail on calm waters. Though he danced to the foot tapping number ‘Chali chali’, there was a remarkable improvement between his performance in the movie and on the Boogie Woogie stage.
But the real stars of the show were Amber and Dhara who shook not two but four legs in total sync. Amber and Dhara provided a fitting end to a glam show.
