Chahat Khanna to do Jai Maa Vaishno Devi

Chahat Khanna who became popular as <em> Kumkum</em>’s daughter Ashka Wadhva, is back to the world of television after her show <em> Kaajal </em> went off-air in December, 2007. The cute looking actress is back after a three month break with Creative Eye’s <em> Jai Maa Vaishno Devi ,</em> on 9X. Chahat will be a part of the show for 12 episodes. Talking about her character she says, “I am playing Sunaina, wife to Shreedhar, who are great disciples of Goddess Vaishno. There will be two stories running simultaneously, one will be a mythological tale and other would be a social story.”

Also Goddess Vaishno is our family deity,” reasons Chahat for choosing to do a mythological. When contacted, producer Dheeraj Kumar said, “Chahat is playing one of the disciples on the show, it is a very important role. The shooting has already begun.” It seems that right from the channels everyone is jumping on to the mytho bandwagon.
