Actress Vibhuti Thakur who plays the foster mother of young Chandragupta in Star Plus’ recently launched show, Chandra Nandni (Balaji Telefilms) is excited about her debut work in Marathi cinema.
Vibhuti who was acclaimed for her role in Zee TV’s Doli Armaanon Ki, will be seen playing the parallel lead in the upcoming Marathi movie, Garbh.
Garbh is a family social film produced by Rajendra Atole and Subhash Ghorpade. Seasoned actors Nishigandha Wadh, Yatin Karyekar, Anant Jog, Pallavi Vaidya, Sushant Shelar and Hemant Thatte will be part of the movie. The story of the film is written by Ramesh Tiwari.
Vibhuti will be paired opposite noted TV actor Hemant Thatte, is what we hear.
When contacted, Vibhuti seemed excited about her Marathi debut saying, “I have a very interesting role in the movie. I am happy and thrilled about the fact that this will be my first movie in Marathi.”
