DJ's upcoming tentatively titled show 'Family' on Star Plus has been making news for many days now; the latest buzz suggests that one of characters cast opposite Kamya Punjabi will have a resemblance to Shah Rukh Khan's character from Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. A source from the show says, "We have yet to finalise a person for this role, it is a strong character, he is a very ambitious sportsperson but due to an uncertain incident he has to leave his career. He then starts blaming his wife played by Kamya Punjabi for whatever happens in his life. He starts detaching himself from her and then he suddenly disappears. There is a possibility that this character may get involved in another girl and will return in the show with a new look. The audience may find some similarities between Shah Rukh Khan's character from KANK and this one. However we have not started shooting for the show yet so the tracks can be changed accordingly." It is said that actor Mehul Bhojak who was last seen in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai was approached to play this character but he refused saying he was too young for it. So the hunt for a suitable actor is still on. Further the first schedule for the show is expected to start by this month-end. The show stars Dakssh Ajit Singh, Vindhya Tiwari, Rakesh Bapat and many others.
