MUMBAI: Sometime back we broke the news about Ali Asgar and Vishal Kotian being roped to play Akbar and Birbal respectively in Nikhil Sinha’s new show.

Well, Nikhil Sinha is bringing back its historical comedy show Akbar Birbal back on TV. The show was earlier launched on Big Magic however this time it will air on Star Bharat.
Now, the latest we hear is that actress Charu Asopa, who is hitting headlines these days on apparent trouble in her married life with husband Rajeev Sen, is set to start her new journey on the professional front.
According to our sources, Charu Asopa has been roped in to portray Hira Bai in the above mentioned show.
Charu is known for her stint in shows like Mere Angne Mein, Karn Sangini, Jiji Maa and many more.
We could not get through Charu for a comment.
