Acting debut started off with Ekta Kapoor's classic '00s soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Mouni attracted high-end attention for portraying the role of Naagin in the franchise series of the same name. Such was her impact after featuring in two seasons of the show that the audience still miss her vibe despite the other lead's spot-on performance for portraying the same iconic character.
