Young Jannat debuted in Bollywood a decade ago with this 2011's Hindi horror movie. The backdrop of this movie was based on terrorist attacks being planned on Mumbai. Jannat played the role of 'Muskaan' in the film. Despite poor ratings, this movie was well-received by the audience.

2. Luv Ka The End

In the same year, Jannat again starred in another prominent Bollywood movie Luv Ka The End, which also happened to be Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor's second Bollywood movie opposite Taaha Shah as the male lead. Shraddha Kapoor played the role of 'Rhea Dialdas' while Jannat played the role of Rhea's sister 'Minty Dialdas'. This movie had similar feedback as that of Jannat's debut movie.

3. Tez Raftaar

[[{"fid":"15589359","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"2":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":333,"width":151,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"2"}}]]

This is a 2016 Bollywood comedy-drama and Jannat's third Bolly venture. Telly fame Siddharth Nigam was also a part of this project. However, many details on this film are unknown.

4.  What Will People Say

[[{"fid":"15589349","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"3":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":606,"width":409,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"3"}}]]

This is a 2017 internationally co-produced drama film and though the plot was set in Pakistan, the film's scenes were all shot in India (mostly in Rajasthan). This is an OTT film (premiered in Netflix) and has received laudable feedback and recognition. The film was globally premiered at the 42nd Toronto International Film Festival on 9th September 2017. Jannat played the role of Salima, who was the protagonist 'Nisha's' (played by Maria Mozhdah) cousin.

5.  Hichki

In 2018, Jannat finally had her breakthrough role of a student named 'Natasha' in the Bollywood film Hichki, whose main star is actress Rani Mukherji, who played the role of 'Ms. Naina Mathur', who faced problems procuring a teaching profession due to her 'Tourette' syndrome that caused uncontrollable hiccup-like sounds. Jannat was immensely reckoned through this movie.
