Chef Vikas Khanna, who is gearing up for the fourth season of cooking based reality show “MasterChef India” has gifted a copy of his new book titled “MasterChef India Cookbook” to megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
Khanna launched the book Wednesday in Jaipur and when he met Big B Thursday, he gifted the book to him as a token of love and respect from the “MasterChef” team.
"It was a pleasure meeting Mr. Bachchan and presenting him 'MasterChef India Cookbook'. He is also excited about the all vegetarian season 4 of 'MasterChef' and wishes us well. Everything seems to have fallen in place with the launch of 'MasterChef India Cookbook' and also the start of the Season 4 of MasterChef India. What better luck?" Khanna said in a statement.
Khanna took two-and-half years to write and design “MasterChef India Cookbook”, which is based on his personal experiences and journey on “MasterChef India”. He shares a special bond with the show, which got him back to his motherland after living in US for more than 10 years.
The book also showcases some of the recipes by some of the previous season contestants.
The fourth season of "MasterChef India" will be aired on Star Plus, starting Jan 26.
