Chetan Hansraj and his wife Lavinia turn designers

Smart and suave Chetan Hansraj has been away from the small screen for quite some time now. He was last seen in Imagine’s Zor Ka Jhatka and since then he has been busy doing other interesting things other than acting. Well, he is not complaining, but having a gala time spending some super cool moments away from the small screen. And guess what? He is in the mood to rake in some moolah. Yes, he is concentrating on his business ventures. “I already own an action adventure business called Action Paintball. And I am soon going to add rock climbing and Superman jump to it. And at the work front, nothing interesting has come my way so far. So I have involved myself in other initiatives,” informs Chetan – who is famous as Sasha from Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki – to Tellychakkar.com. Hmm…Chetan has turned into a businessman. Great! And this is not it. Coin the word versatile and Chetan is synonymous with it. The talented actor has also done a designing course from NIFT. And he, along with his wife, Lavinia, is all set to launch their new line of soft furnishings on the 18 December 2011 at Le Sutra, Bandra, Mumbai at 7.30pm. Here’s what he has to say about the event, “We will not have any regular kind of patterns and materials rather offer patchwork kind of embroidery and intricate Zardozi work.” He also goes on to say that he has put in a lot of personal input as well. “Since everything is hand-worked and there are a large number of designs so we have really put in our best. My wife and I have been toiling away since the last six months, but this is our labour of love.” Furthermore, this is the lovey-dovey couple’s second exhibition. “The response was very positive the first time. So this time around we decided to exhibit at a larger level and even supply to select stores,’ says Chetan. All the best, Chetan and Lavinia. Hope you guys rock at the exhibition.
