Congrats: Sooraj Thapar and Deepti Dhyani blessed with baby boy

It’s parenthood bliss for TV couple Sooraj Thapar and Deepti Dhyani. The duo had a love cum arranged marriage on 9 December 2012 and a year and a half later they are blessed with a baby boy. Deepti delivered her first child on 22 July 2014. Both the baby and the mother are healthy. When contacted Deepti she said, “I can’t express my happiness. The baby means the world to me.” Sooraj, a proud father, said, “We were open to having both a baby boy and a girl for I was looking at rebirth of my parents with them. Now that I have a son it’s my father who has returned.” The actor has been constantly around his wife and son. In fact, he also recorded his son’s birth on camera. Interestingly, Deepti believes that her new born looks like her husband. “His features are a lot like my husband.” Lastly, Sooraj jokingly said, “If anyone is planning to bless the newly born with a gift, then I would suggest cash and gift vouchers would do (wink).” We just hope Sooraj and Deepti’s friends have taken a note of this.
