An upcoming Telugu actress recently got into a major controversy with her mother filing a police case against her and the two indulging into a clash soon after.
Swathi Reddy was accused by her mother, Nagendramma, of stealing money and gold ornaments. She reported to the police that Swathi left home a few days ago with one Srinivas Reddy.
When the actress reached the Banjara Hills police station, the matter got further heated up as she got into a clash with her mother. Post which Swathi broke down hysterically.
Nagendramma had alleged that Srinivas Reddy, who is already married, lured her daughter and looted off her money.
Swathi, on her part told the media that she did have differences with her mother over financial matters. But she clarified that nobody took her forcibly and that she went out on her own.
The actress also denied that she was in love with Srinivas Reddy.
Swathi’s mother later claimed they have reached a compromise and settled their differences.
