MUMBAI: Maira Dharti Mehra is a well known actress in the television industry and she has a good fan following.

She is best known for her roles in serials like Sasuraal Genda Phool 2, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kumkum Bhagya, Tera Yaar Hun Mai, Shaadi Mubarak etc.

Recently, she had essayed the role of Falaq in Dangal's most loved show 'Dalchini' and the audience loved her performance.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her how was her experience working with Rajan Shahi.

How was the experience on working with Rajan Shahi under his banner DKP production?

It was great working and I has started to work with him just after Genda Phool and I had just got a call and I was thinking should I do the role or no, so then I thought I will do it was a cameo role where I had to shoot with Karan Kundrra and enter with him, he had began to shoot for the serial over here but my shot was in silvasa due to COVID. The first seven days were difficult for me but then after that it was a beautiful journey.

Karan Kundrra made is easy for me he was essaying the role of my brother and he then really started to behave like one. I remember while shooting with Shabaz sir we used to sit outside Shabaz sir, Karan Kundrra and me we used to chill and that was a routine and Shabaz has many stories and I remember him in Raju Chacha and then coming and working with him was lovely.

How as the environment on the sets of the show back then?

It was very good, that time there wasn't any rules. I don't think any production has this rule of dating clause and its personal and falling in love is beautiful and earlier also there wasn't any rule.

Well, there is no doubt that with the show ending the audience are going to miss watching Maira on screen.
